Dr. Dexter G. Smith, a Licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland, is the former Associate Dean of Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University, a Principal Professional Staff Member at the Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, and was division Director of a commercial acoustics product development company. He has extensive experience in acoustic and other data collection in extreme environments. He has 4 patents in acoustic noise control, 4 in medical devices, and 2 in electromagnetics. He also holds the Amateur Extra class ham radio license.
